Can you elaborate on this one?  The TclPro debugger is not an example of 
great programming (trust me on this).  There is RAM Debugger for free 
users and Tcl Dev Kit or Komodo IDE for commercial users (and the extra 
features in Komodo IDE are worth it if you use Tcl commercially).

The core also has more built-in debugging features that have been added 
over the years.  I've been meaning to update tkcon (free) with the info 
errorstack and TIP#280 features that would help as well.

FWIW, I use TDK Inspector (or the free Tkinspect for others) much more 
than I do a debugger, and of course tkcon is indispensable for me.

I'm just curious what aspects of "debugging" you are looking for that 
would be better in the core.
