OpenSRS-py Version 0.1.4 =============

This is a python implementation of the [OpenSRS][opensrs] [XML API][xmlapi].

It is only a light wrapper around the structure of the requests and responses as defined by the API.

Example Usage

Here is what a post call looks like:

from opensrs import OpenSRS opensrs = OpenSRS("myusername", "privatekey", test=True) opensrs.post("sw_register", "domain",

System Message: ERROR/3 (<string>, line 18)

Unexpected indentation.
attrs={

"domain": "example.com", "auto_renew": 1, "link_domains": 0, "reg_type": "new", "contact_set": {

System Message: ERROR/3 (<string>, line 24)

Unexpected indentation.
"owner": { ... }, "admin": { ... }, "billing": { ... }, "tech": { ... }, },

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 29)

Block quote ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.
"nameserver_list": [
{
"sortorder": 1, "name": "ns1.fatbox.ca", },

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 34)

Definition list ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.
{
"sortorder": 2, "name": "ns2.fatbox.ca", },

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 38)

Definition list ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.

],

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 39)

Definition list ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.

},

extra_items = {
"registrant_ip": "1.2.3.4", },

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 43)

Definition list ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.

)

And you get back a data structure like:

{

"protocol": "XCP", "action": "reply", "response_code": "200", "is_success": 1, "attributes": {

System Message: ERROR/3 (<string>, line 53)

Unexpected indentation.
... },

System Message: WARNING/2 (<string>, line 55)

Block quote ends without a blank line; unexpected unindent.

}

Requirements

  • xml.etree.ElementTree
  • httplib2
