how about "attrib"? is this in a perl script? does this have anything to
do with perl? is there some reason you can't shell out to attrib via `` or
system()?

Subject: DOS Attrib equivalent

Hi all.

    This could be a newbie question but without writing several lines of
code, is there a function that will do basically the same as Attrib under
the
Win32 platform?

With warm regards,
Anthony
