Assuming this is not just random spam (which it probably is, seeing the sender's email doesn't even come from the alleged company's domain), I'd say we're pretty ok, with www.perl.org ranking #1 in searches for "perl" and "perl programming", at least in my bubble.

Seeing that queries for "top programming languages" and "best programming languages" only yield articles and posts with lists and no language website, and assuming similar keywords will yield similar results, I'd say we're good on that front too.

I don't know who owns the analytics for www.perl.org (UA-50555-1) so I can't really say whether this is a real concern or not, but I think it's safe to close this ticket.
