The log results indicated we are back to above 96% core pass rate.
The smoker has some bugs apparently for EBCDIC and is giving erroneous
results. We need to look at that. I don't know what "The _test target
is deprecated. Please upgrade your smoker" means. I thought it meant
you were running an old version of Test::Smoke, but it appears you are
running a current one. Maybe somebody reading this can answer.
I have fixed a few of the bugs in this version, and rebased to the
latest blead, and pushed to the usual place.. You can test this if you
get a chance. I'll continue to look at fixing more of the bugs. There
is a fix to dirhandle newly in blead. There is a small possibility that
that will fix the problems in several tests that are related to dirhandles.
There is also a bug in Pod::Simple that I haven't been able to find by
reading the code. This latest branch has debugging turned on for a
failing test. To run by hand, do
cd ext/Pod-Html
../../perl -I../../lib t/htmlescp.t
and send me the output
Thanks
