Getting strange error when trying to run PDK Samples, PerlApp, Demo Application from menu after new install

Hi!

I’m using WinXP, ActivePerl 5.16.3 and PDK 9.2.1 build 296433.

I’ve done this from home with no problems but at work I see the error
message (see attachment) and I’m perplexed I cannot seem to find what the
problem is. I’ve uninstalled everything, cleaned the registry, deleted the
directories, and reinstalled twice, rebooted, but I get the same error at
work. The new installs and this PDK test work flawlessly for me at home
with same versions (same install exes too), which makes this bug even more
aggravating.

I do not have any perl-ish environment variables set either location and my
paths are correct and both lead with the ActivePerl directories up front.

I’ve Googled and combed the ActiveState website for answers, but found
nothing helpful, likely because my searching Kung Fu is not strong enough L.

Does anyone out here have a/the solution?

Thanks,

Larry
