Hello,

The first pre-release build of Komodo IDE 7 is now out - containing
exciting new features for Komodo developers. You can download it using
the link below:

	http://downloads.activestate.com/Komodo/releases/7.0.0a1/

We are expecting to have Komodo 7.0.0 final released some time next year
(in 2012), we'll continue releasing additional Komodo 7 alpha and beta
builds every 4-8 weeks until that time.

Komodo IDE 7.0.0a1 brings in two major features:

1) Komodo Sync

	http://docs.activestate.com/komodo/7.0/sync.html

The Komodo Sync feature provides you with the ability to easily setup
and use the same Komodo settings on all the machines where you are
running Komodo. You can now keep your toolbox items, preferences,
keybindings, API catalogs, color schemes and templates in sync across
all of your Komodo development environments.

2) Collaboration

	http://docs.activestate.com/komodo/7.0/collab.html

With the collaboration feature you'll be able to share a document with a
group of users, allowing everyone in the group to view and edit the
document at the same time! The collaboration feature is great for team
development, such as when performing code reviews, pair programming
and/or when have to work remotely.

Note: The Komodo IDE 7.0.0 alpha 1 build is available to everyone (you
won't need a Komodo IDE license), as it uses a self-contained license
that will expire in 60 days. Komodo Edit 7 alpha builds will not be
released yet.
